The “17th Edition of Udghosh- the National Open Quiz” was open to individuals of all ages from schools, colleges, and the corporate world. The event received an overwhelming response, with over 800 participants from across the country competing in the preliminary round followed by the final round.

The preliminary round consisted of 30 mind-bending questions, hosted by quizmaster “Major Chandrakanth Nair” , one of the known figures in the quizzing circuit. The students actively engaged in the preliminary rounds, proving their mettle by almost answering all correctly. The cut-off for the prelims, thus stood very high at a massive 23 out of 37 points wherein 8 teams qualified for the finals with 16 participants.

“Mr Jayakanthan R” from TCS and “Mr Preetam Upadhya” from Barclays emerged as the winners of the event followed by former HSBC banker “Mr Rajiv Rai” & “Mr. Srinath Bhashyam”, Gen. Manager, SRH as the 1st Runners up. “Gokul S” from MasterCard and “Calvin L” from Delhi School of economics were recognized as the 2nd Runners up.
