Under the KIIT Student Activity Centre (KSAC), the Hindi Society “Khwahishein” organized a grand three-day event titled “Abhivyakti” to commemorate Hindi Diwas. Held on September 12, 13, and 14, 2023, the event aimed to promote awareness about the Hindi language and literature and highlight its significance to a wider audience.
The event began on September 12 with an outreach program at Patia Raj High School, where members of the Khwahishein Society engaged with students and introduced them to the importance of the Hindi language. Creative activities and educational sessions were conducted to spark curiosity and nurture a love for Hindi among the students. A similar initiative was carried out the next day, September 13, at Prashanti Vihar School, where the students participated enthusiastically and explored the beauty and utility of Hindi through engaging sessions.
The grand finale of the program was held on September 14 at the KIIT campus. Highlights of the day included a theatrical adaptation of Tulsidas’s Ram Lakshman Parshuram Samvad performed by members of Khwahishein and a mesmerizing musical performance by the Korus Society.
The event was organized under the guidance of faculty coordinator and society in-charge Mrs. Sonali Pradhan, with student coordinators Sameer Shekhar and Ritika Gupta, along with assistant coordinators Ritikesh and Aishwarya, ensuring seamless execution. Dr. Bhavya Bhushan, faculty coordinator of Khwahishein, concluded the event with a heartfelt vote of thanks.
