Priyanshu De, a standout talent from KIIT University, secured the 1st prize (Gold Medal) in Web Technologies at the Odisha Skills 2025-26 competition. Representing the pinnacle of vocational excellence in the state, the event serves as the qualifying round for the national and international WorldSkills stages. 

During the grand felicitation ceremony held in January 2026, he was personally honoured by the Honourable Chief Minister of Odisha, Shri Mohan Charan Majhi. Along with the gold medal, Priyanshu received a cash prize of ₹25,000 for his technical prowess. This victory solidifies his position as a top-tier developer and earns him a spot to represent Odisha at the upcoming IndiaSkills regional competitions.
