The KIIT International Students’ Society celebrated its much-awaited annual event, Halloween 2024, on 29th October 2024 at the KIIT Student Activity Centre (KSAC). With an incredible footfall of around 400 international students, the event turned out to be a spooktacular bash filled with thrills, chills, and electrifying energy. The evening commenced with an eerie atmosphere set by spooky tunes, followed by a warm welcome speech from Prof. (Dr.) Shyam Sundar Behura, Additional Registrar, KIIT DU, which set the tone for the exciting night ahead.

The celebration featured a series of interactive games, including “What’s in the Box?”, “Just Guess It!”, and the “Cup Blowdown Challenge”, which kept the energy levels soaring. The crowd was further entertained with Halloween-themed singing performances and groovy dance moves to hauntingly catchy tunes. Adding to the thrill, students turned up in spine-chilling costumes and makeup, embodying their favorite Halloween characters. The highlight of the night was the captivating Spooky Ramp Show, where students showcased their creative avatars, leading to the much-anticipated crowning of Mr. & Ms. Halloween 2024.

The event concluded on a sweet note with the cutting of the Halloween cake, generously shared among all attendees, as Monster Energy Drink powered the night with their support. The coordinators expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone for their enthusiastic participation, which transformed the night into a scream-worthy success. Halloween 2024 will be remembered as an unforgettable celebration brimming with hauntingly good vibes, jaw-dropping costumes, and cherished memories.
