On March 23, 2025, the KIIT Animal and Environmental Welfare Society (KAEWS) organized “FOOD DRIVE 4.0” . The initiative aimed to provide nourishment to stray animals, including dogs, cats, and cows, demonstrating the university’s commitment to animal welfare.
volunteers gathered at the KIIT Student Activity Centre (KSAC) to prepare food items such as curd, flattened rice, milk, biscuits, boiled eggs, and bananas. The members were divided into five groups, each led by different society heads, and assigned specific campuses to cover the campuses.
KAEWS continues to promote kindness and responsibility towards animals, encouraging students and staff to participate in such initiatives and contribute to the well-being of stray animals in and around the university premises.
