MasterChef 3.0 was a resounding success, bringing together 800 enthusiastic participants and showcasing an extraordinary celebration of culinary talent and creativity.
The event began with an energetic opening ceremony featuring a delightful musical journey. In Round-1, a culinary quiz tested participants’ knowledge, with 150 participants advancing to Round-2. This round, the Black Box Challenge, pushed contestants to their creative limits, narrowing the field to 50 qualifiers. In Round-3, judged by KIIT Hospitality Executive Chef Deepak Nayak, participants impressed with their carving skills, and the top 20 were selected for Round-4. Round 4, judged by Chef Madhusmita Soren, showcased South Indian dishes prepared without fire, selecting the top 6 participants for the final challenge.
The final day was graced by the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Saranjit Singh, Registrar Prof. Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, and Additional Registrar Dr. Shyam Sundar Behura, whose presence added encouragement and excitement. The Finals was graced by renowned MasterChef Shipra Khanna. The finalists recreated Master Chef Shipra Khanna’s signature dish, “Herb Crust Paneer Roulade with Sautéed Vegetables & Lemon Sauce.”
The event concluded with a grand valedictory ceremony where Adeeba Kafil Khan was crowned the Winner of KIIT Masterchef 3.0, and Ahana Ganguli emerged as the Runner-up.
Korus energized the stage with their dynamic performances, Kreative Eye beautifully captured every moment, and Kalliope’s charismatic anchors brought the event to life. KIIT MasterChef 3.0 left an indelible mark as a remarkable celebration of passion, innovation, and culinary excellence.
