Kinetic Grooves was a vibrant celebration of cultural diversity through dance, hosted by the KIIT International Students Society on 19th October 2024 at the Campus 11 Auditorium, KIIT DU. With a footfall of 650 international students, the event showcased 15 captivating performances, each representing the rich traditions and creativity of different countries. A background PPT slideshow enriched the experience by providing insights into the history and significance of each dance form.

The event began with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony and a warm welcome address by Prof. (Dr.) Shyam Sundar Behura, Additional Registrar, KIIT DU, followed by an inspiring speech from Mr. Saurav Kumar Yadav, Coordinator of the KIIT International Students’ Society. From the energetic rhythms of Africa to the graceful movements of Asia, every performance captivated the audience, highlighting the beauty of global cultural exchange.

Concluding with a heartfelt valedictory speech by Ms. Sirri Falone, Coordinator of KIIT International Students’ Society, Kinetic Grooves succeeded in uniting students through art, fostering creativity, and strengthening bonds within the international community at KIIT DU.
