A group of 60 members of KIMAYA, the Medical Society of KIIT functioning at KSAC, visited Andharua Jagannath Prasad High School, Bhubaneswar and engaged in various activities with the students of that school on 7th September 2023, on the occasion of National Nutrition Week. The group conducted Seminar presentations and performed Nutritional Engagement Activities, Role Play, Cultural Programs, Fun Games and Quiz on nutrition. They sang and danced and enjoyed with almost 50 students along with providing them knowledge about the importance and need of nutrition in our lives and presented them with study related stationaries like pen, pencil, eraser, etc. along with healthy snacks like cake, biscuits and juice with some candies too.

The team members of KIMAYA also made two presentations and Role Play on basic need of Nutritional values, its importance on every individual’s life. The students gained more knowledge about nutrition, its importance and got influenced by the team members’ gesture and friendly nature. Dr. Shyam Sundar Behura, Dy. Director, SS also accompanied the team members. The event was coordinated by Ms. Jayalaxmi Mishra, Staff In- charge, KSAC and also Dr. Barsha Baishali Parida, Faculty In- charge, KIMS. The team thanked the Principal, Teachers along With other staff members for facilitating the programme and making it a successful one.
