‘Kamakshi & HeforShe,’ the society dedicated to Gender empowerment(SDG5) at KIIT Student Activity Centre, hosted a Mock Policy Forum in celebration of “National Girl Child Day” on January 24, 2024. The mock forum discussed key schemes like Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana and Balika Samridhi Yojana, emphasizing support for NGOs to drive positive societal changes. Notable initiatives including NSGI, OSC, Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthaan Yojan were highlighted. Around 100 students participated in the event.
