On the occasion of Independence Day, in a heartfelt gesture, the dedicated members of Kraftovity Society came together to create a 3D model and handmade flags as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. The Flags were proudly distributed to our vigilant security guards and the brave police personnel in acknowledgment of their invaluable service to our community and nation in and around our KIIT Campuses. Around 50 society students volunteered for this memorable event.

‘Launchpad’ – The Annual Induction Quiz by Qutopia, KSAC

Qutopia, the official quizzing society of KSAC, KIIT University, hosted its annual in-house university quiz ‘Launchpad’ at Campus-11 Auditorium witnessing a fair footfall of 650 students to enjoy and witness the event. It showcased many interesting questions and answers and increased the knowledge of the participants as well as the audience. The winners were awarded books and certificates by Dr Shyam Sundar Behura, Additional Registrar and head of the KIIT Student Activity Centre.

The event was attended by 350 students, faculty members, and special guests. KIIT’s Flagship Event ‘Pratijja’ – “The Asian Parliamentary Debate” Organized by KSAC

The 19th edition of Pratijja, hosted by Kronicle, the Literary and debating Society of KIIT, was a resounding success. Teams from across the nation showcased their prowess, with the National Law University Odisha clinching the championship and KIIT proudly securing the runners-up spot. The participants were marked by the adjudicators, who gave them feedback after the debate was done and were marked in turn by these teams, thus leading to a fair competition for both the debating teams as well as adjudicators. 'Kamakshi & HeforShe,' the society dedicated to Gender empowerment(SDG5) at KIIT Student Activity Centre, hosted a Mock Policy Forum in celebration of "National Girl Child Day" on January 24, 2024. The mock forum discussed key schemes like Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana and Balika Samridhi Yojana, emphasizing support for NGOs to drive positive societal changes. Notable initiatives including NSGI, OSC, Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthaan Yojan were highlighted. Around 100 students participated in the event.
