On occasion of the National Handloom Day , Kaanchi was organized by "Kzarshion"- the Fashion Society of KSAC where seven teams highlighted the rich handloom traditions from various states of India. It was witnessed by the newly admitted 1st year students and staff. A footfall of 650 students was seen where Dr Jynana Ranjan Mohanty, Registrar and Dr Shyam Sundar Behura, Additional Registrar addressed the event respectively.

Kaanchi aimed to promote and appreciate the traditional Indian handloom industry, highlighting exquisite handloom fabrics crafted by skilled artisans. The event brought people together to appreciate and cherish India's cultural legacy, promoting national pride through art and culture.
