Observation of National Girl Child Day 2025

On 24th January 25 National Girl Child Day, Society Khwaab, in collaboration with Kimaya, organized an outreach program at Bipini Bihari Choudhury Government Vocational Higher Secondary School for the Hearing Impaired in Bhubaneswar. The event featured dance performances, interactive activities, storytelling, workshops, and discussions aimed at raising awareness and empowering the girl child. Participants celebrated the strength and potential of young girls, fostering hope and positivity. The outreach program by Society Khwaab and Kimaya aligns with the school's mission to empower students with disabilities, particularly girls, by providing them with opportunities for personal growth and skill development.

Lohri was celebrated with utmost vigor and enthusiasm at KIIT University, bringing together thousands of students in a vibrant display of unity and tradition. The campus came alive with bonfires, music, and dance by Korus, the Music & Dance Society creating unforgettable memories of joy and cultural pride. Prof. Saranjit Singh, Vice Chancellor, Prof. Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, Registrar and Dr. Shyam Sundar Behura, Additional Registrar were present in the celebration and gave their good wishes to the students. Kinetic Grooves was a vibrant celebration of cultural diversity through dance, hosted by the KIIT International Students Society on 19th October 2024 at the Campus 11 Auditorium, KIIT DU. With a footfall of 650 international students, the event showcased 15 captivating performances, each representing the rich traditions and creativity of different countries.
