On January 17, 2025, Team Goonj from Kalakaar, the dramatics society of KIIT Student Activity Centre, clinched victory at 'Aaghaz' during Xpressions, the annual fest of Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB). Their impactful performance captivated the audience and judges alike. First Position at the XIMB College Fest, but they also took a prize of ₹10,000.That’s a well-deserved reward for all their hard work and incredible performance.

Their performance must have been a spectacular showcase of creativity and style to stand out among the competition. Fashion events like these highlight the talent, vision, and hard work that goes into creating truly unique designs and presentations. It must have been an incredible moment for the team and they also took a prize of ₹18,000.

Absolutely, it’s definitely a well-deserved reward for all their dedication and effort! KIITIANS had an amazing time at the student connect program between KIIT and MIT and Harvard students as part of the Harvard-MIT Trek. It was a fantastic opportunity to exchange ideas, learn from each other, and build global connections. Thanks to Achyuta Samanta Sir for such initiatives and Dwiti Vikramaditya Sir, DG International Relations for making it happen. It was great hosting 38 delegates of the Harvad-MIT Trek.
