Ugadi is celebrated as the New Year on 07th April 2024 by the people of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Telangana.  Around 300 students were a part of this celebration including Staff of KIIT. The Inaugural Ceremony was graced by Additional Registrar, Prof Shyam Sundar Behura. All the Students enjoyed the cultural performances followed by lunch which included Ugadi Pachadi, lemon rice, tindora fry, rice, sambar, rasam & curd.

Udghosh 17.0- The National Open Quiz Contest organized at KIIT

The "17th Edition of Udghosh- the National Open Quiz" was open to individuals of all ages from schools, colleges, and the corporate world. The event received an overwhelming response, with over 800 participants from across the country competing in the preliminary round followed by the final round. The preliminary round consisted of 30 mind-bending questions, hosted by quizmaster "Major Chandrakanth Nair" , one of the known figures in the quizzing circuit. The students of KIIT Student Activity Centre celebrated Lohri on 13th January 2024. Like every year, it is  celebrated at the end of the winter season by the lighting of Bonfire, dancing and singing in the praise of the Dulla Bhatti. Sweets and popcorn were put into the fire as offerings to God by the dignitaries and students. More than 600 Students of various states gathered and celebrated this auspicious occasion at Rose Garden, Campus 18, KIIT University.

‘KIMAYA' Medical Society of KIIT Deemed to be University organized a two day Health Fest – CHIMERA on 20th-21st Jan 2024.
